Young Nudists

Many younger naturists believe that the ANF is all about old fogies. While it can be said that a lot of members of the ANF and clubs are older, this is more a sign of the times than any concerted effort to keep younger people out. It is partially a carry over from the "Flower Power 60's" where naturism was far more acceptable than today, and our beaches and clubs were brimming with nude families and couples.

At the ANF we recognise the need to bring in younger naturists, yet find this increasingly difficult to do in the current climate of child protection. The future of our society and of naturism rests on the shoulders of it's younger people, and we are looking at ways to encourage you to become more involved. If you have an interest in helping us provide better facilities, services or events for younger nudists, we thoroughly urge you to contact us with your ideas and support. We have many ideas and plans for the future, but we want your involvement to make these things happen.

Young Nudists of Australia

The YNOA group within the ANF is designed to encourage further interest in the nudist movement from young people, and to ensure that their interests, involvement and ideas are not overlooked. The YNOA caters specifically to the children of naturist families, and aims to provide them with interactive events and activities. At each annual Convention and Sports Rally they have their own calendar of outings and social events. Anyone under the age of 18 years whose parent or guardian is a member of an affiliated club or of the ANF Supporter Club, can belong to the YNOA. Other young people are also welcome to write to the ANF with any queries or suggestions about nudism.
