Another month has gone by and we have passed the shortest day of the year. From now on, until the end of this year, we are getting more and more daylight but that does not mean that the sun will shine all the time. This is happening at present in the northern hemisphere, in parts of Russia, Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway and Finland.
You surely have heard the words: “ A week is a long time in politics”. It only is a short while ago when I wrote my last report when everything was running smoothly. Then an email arrived to informed me that the Webmaster had resigned and that is the reason the webpage has changed and will stay that way until we have a new webmaster, who will rebuild a better website. I apologise to you for not being able to use the forum and the limited pictorial display. The information pages are still the same and informative and interesting for the visitors. It can only get better.
As it happened, the Webmaster and the Secretary was one and the same person, we are looking for a new Secretary too. For that reason you may find occasionally a little delay in getting a reply as we, the Executive, are doing our best in this situation.
The ANF is otherwise in good shape; contrary to what you may hear or read.
The new financial year has started for the ANF and stamps to renew your passport are on sale. Ask your club, group or the establishment who has issued you the passport, to sell you the new stamp. It is just as important for the club as it is for you to show that you support the lifestyle you enjoy.
Looking through our Australian Naturist Magazines, I found an article, which gives a little more information on the Nudist Hikers in Switzerland. The story was mentioned here in the daily newspaper, telling of some German Hikers were arrested in Switzerland. Now it appears there will be a ban on nude hiking. Look it up ‘the truth of nude hiking’ if you like, interesting reading.
