Take the South Eastern Freeway as far as the Callington turn off. Take the road to Strathalbyn. Travel for approx. 8 km and turn left onto a road called Chauncey's Lane. You will see the ruins of an old church on the corner. Because our club grounds are relatively difficult to find we prefer to meet visitors at this point and guide them to the club site.

Many of our facilities are modest. However, we find people who appreciate bush camping enjoy the natural environment and wonderful birds and wildlife, which our grounds provide. Kangaroos can be seen on our grounds most evenings.

We have a clubhouse with cooking facilities and a cosy wood heater for the winter. Lighting for the clubhouse and toilets is run on solar power with a backup supply through a generator. We are currently constructing a new shower facility.

The Club has a miniten court, volley ball court, 9 hole bush golf -course and an above ground pool. It is usually possible for members to find opponents for a game of miniten or petanque. Families with children are most welcome.

Once a month the Club has a social function night. For example we have: Bonfire Night, Christmas Party, Men in the Kitchen Cook Night, Fancy Dress Night, Quiz Night and many more.

Most of our members own caravans which are left on site. Members use their own 12-volt power systems as the caravan sites do not have 240 volt power. We have overnight accommodation for visitors. Prospective members may have two free visits before making application to join.

PLEASE NOTE. The club has no permanent occupants so, if you are travelling and wish to stay, we need as much advanced warning of your arrival as possible.
